Job Description:

As a Temporary Demonstrator, you will be an essential part of our educational team, responsible for assisting with the delivery of courses and supporting the academic progress of students. Your primary role is to enhance the educational experience by providing practical guidance and hands-on instruction within your designated field of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Assistance: Collaborate with professors and instructors to deliver course materials, including but not limited to lectures, lab sessions, tutorials, and workshops.

Lab Supervision: Oversee laboratory sessions, ensuring students have a safe and productive learning environment. Offer guidance on experiments, projects, and assignments.

Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback. Assist in grading assignments, examinations, and projects.

Mentorship: Be a mentor to students, providing guidance and support in their academic and personal development.

Demonstrations: Prepare and conduct practical demonstrations, showcasing real-world applications of the subject matter.

Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks related to the course, such as record-keeping, scheduling, and organizing resources.

Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with both students and faculty, addressing concerns and questions as they arise.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study.

Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject matter.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire and engage students.

Organizational and time-management skills.

Patience and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Duration:

This position is temporary and will be for a specific period, typically corresponding to an academic semester or as determined by the university's needs.
