We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Sri Lanka. As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various construction projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all work adheres to established engineering standards, codes, and specifications while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise and support to the construction team on-site.

Monitor and supervise daily construction activities, ensuring they are in line with project plans and specifications.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Collaborate closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Resolve any technical issues that may arise during the construction process and implement effective solutions.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for the project.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality assurance records.

Conduct regular meetings with the project team to discuss progress, challenges, and potential improvements.

Proactively identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.

Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence on-site, promoting a safe and productive working environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in site engineering within the construction industry.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.

Familiarity with local construction regulations and building codes in Sri Lanka.
