Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure they adhere to project plans, specifications, and timelines.

Conduct regular inspections to assess the quality and progress of work, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.

Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.

Team Management:

Lead and manage on-site construction workers, subcontractors, and other staff.

Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring that they work safely and efficiently.

Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and cooperation.

Quality Assurance:

Maintain high construction standards and ensure all work meets quality and safety regulations.

Conduct inspections to verify compliance with industry standards, company policies, and local building codes.

Report any non-compliance issues to the appropriate authorities.

Communication:

Serve as a point of contact between the construction site and project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and management.

Regularly communicate project progress, challenges, and potential solutions to keep all parties informed.

Safety and Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.

Investigate and report any incidents or violations promptly.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily construction activities, including work logs, progress reports, and site conditions.

Prepare and submit reports to higher management as required.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.

Familiarity with safety and quality standards and regulations.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
