Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director in the Manufacturing and Operations department at our Sri Lanka facility. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our manufacturing and operational excellence to new heights. You will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of tasks, from overseeing production processes to ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy: Develop and implement the operational strategy for the manufacturing facility in line with the company's objectives. This includes setting goals and KPIs to achieve optimal performance.

Production Management: Oversee the production processes, scheduling, and quality control to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. Continuously optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors to maintain a high-performing workforce. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including human capital, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands and budget constraints.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Implement and maintain quality control protocols, and collaborate with relevant departments to meet industry regulations.

Cost Management: Develop and manage the department's budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and making informed decisions to maintain cost efficiency.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization, automation, and streamlining to enhance overall operational efficiency and reduce waste.

Supply Chain Integration: Collaborate with the supply chain team to maintain a seamless flow of materials and products, optimizing inventory management and reducing lead times.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for the manufacturing and operations department to support business growth and sustainability.

Stakeholder Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and integrated manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in manufacturing and operations management, with a track record of achieving operational excellence and cost control.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for manufacturing and operational management.
