Position: Trainee Banking Assistants
Location: Sri Lanka

The Junior Old Boys' Association bank is seeking ambitious, driven, and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Trainee Banking Assistants. Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance and information about the bank's products and services.
Transaction Processing: Execute and manage various banking transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and cheque processing.
Documentation: Maintain and manage customer documentation and records in compliance with the bank's policies and regulatory requirements.
Assistance in Financial Services: Support senior banking professionals in providing financial advice and assistance to clients, adhering to the bank's guidelines and ethical standards.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards, actively participating in risk management processes and fraud prevention initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments within the bank, fostering a cohesive and supportive work environment to deliver excellent customer service.
Learning and Development: Actively participate in training programs and workshops, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the banking industry.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues effectively.
Basic knowledge of banking and financial operations is advantageous, although not mandatory.
Proficiency in using computer applications and banking software.
Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet job demands.
A strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior in all banking activities.
Fluency in English and Sinhala is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
